Application Procedure
GREENGATE De-TOXER MAX
This is an electrolysis-based equipment designed to generate two types of electrolysed solutions after a preset operating time:
- Mode A: Electrolysed Disinfectant Solution for Cleaning & Sanitization
- Mode B: Electrolysed Cleaning Solution for Cleaning & Degreasing
2.A. Electrolysed Disinfectant Solution (Cleaning & Sanitization)
This mode generates an electrolysed disinfectant solution with an
Oxidation-Reduction Potential (ORP) of +800 to +1000 mV.
Select any one of the three available settings to produce the solution.
Procedure
- Fill the jug with tap water or purified RO water.
- Add 4 grams of food-grade salt (NaCl/Kosher Salt) per litre of water and stir gently.
- Close the jug with the lid.
- Connect the power supply and switch the unit ON.
- Allow the electrolysis cycle to complete as per the selected setting.

GREENGATE De-TOXER MAX generates two different electrolysed solutions by using different salts and the electrolysis process:
- Mode A: Electrolysed Disinfectant Solution
- Mode B:Electrolysed Degreasing Solution
3.1 Electrolysed Disinfectant Solution
Depending on the water quality and additives, the system can generate two effective disinfectant solutions for cleaning and sanitization.
A. Soft Wonder Solution (Sodium Hypochlorite - NaOCl)
- Ingredients: Tap/RO Water + 4 g Food-grade Salt (NaCl) per litre.
- Using normal tap water (pH > 7), electrolysis produces Sodium Hypochlorite (NaOCl).
- NaOCl is a strong oxidising disinfectant suitable for general cleaning and A-to-Z sanitization.
B. Strong Wonder Solution (Hypochlorous Acid - HOCl)
- Ingredients: Water + 4 g NaCl/L + 1 tbsp Distilled White Vinegar (5%).
- The vinegar lowers the water pH below 7, enabling electrolysis to generate Hypochlorous Acid (HOCl).
- HOCl is a weak acid but a powerful oxidiser and the most effective free chlorine disinfectant.
- Studies report HOCl can be 80–120 times more effective than Sodium Hypochlorite.

3.3 Electrolysed Degreasing Solution
Using Potassium Carbonate (K₂CO₃), the system generates
Potassium Hydroxide (KOH), a powerful alkaline cleaning agent
for grease, oil and stubborn contaminants.
- Ingredients: Water + Potassium Carbonate + Electricity.
- Produces Potassium Hydroxide (KOH) with excellent surface-active and degreasing properties.
Operational Instructions
GREENGATE De-TOXER MAX
Follow the steps below to generate the required electrolysed solution using the desired operating mode.
Preparation
- Fill the jar with 3 litres of water.
- Add the required salt as per the selected application and stir gently.
- Connect the controller to the jar and switch ON the power supply.
- The white LED will illuminate, indicating that the system is ready for operation.
Press the yellow control button to select the required operating mode.
4A. Setting 1 (Green LED)
- Press the button once.
- The green LED will blink and the system will operate for 3 minutes.
- Produces up to 40 ppm chlorine in 3 litres of water.
Recommended Applications:
Air spray, hand sanitization, washing or spraying fruits and vegetables,
grocery items, children’s toys, diaper rash cleaning, and wound cleansing.
4B. Setting 2 (Blue LED)
- Press the button twice.
- The blue LED will blink and the system will operate for 5 minutes.
- Produces up to 60 ppm chlorine in 3 litres of water.
Recommended Applications:
Office premises, workstations, furniture, windows, curtains, car interiors,
electronic gadgets, door handles, and other frequently touched surfaces.
4C. Setting 3 (Red LED)
- Press the button three times.
- The red LED will blink and the system will operate for 7 minutes.
- Produces up to 100 ppm chlorine in 3 litres of water.
- For approximately 200 ppm, repeat the 7-minute cycle once more.
Recommended Applications:
Hospitals, clinics, hotels, schools, restaurants, shopping malls,
bathrooms, public areas, salons, dental clinics, OP clinics,
medical equipment, and floor sanitization.
Note: During operation, the selected LED will continue blinking until the cycle is complete. The system will stop automatically when the selected time has elapsed.
